Modern Korean restaurant with disappointing food and service. We came for brunch on a Friday. Despite being only one of 3 tables in the restaurant, they forgot to put in our drinks order (which they apologized for and comped) and then never picked up the check, while all the servers were chatting in the back. Food was decently flavorful and well presented (for brunch) but 2 of 3 dishes were overcooked. The omurice egg was perfectly soft but the kimchi rice below it was mushy. The scallion waffle had a great soy maple sauce but the waffle was dry and crunchy.
Absolutely amazing experience, came here with three friends and asked the server if they’d be willing to just bring us an assortment of food to try everything. They were totally game and gave us one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.Everything was fresh, delicious, and explored a different combination and depth of flavors.A must try, and even during brunch we got to experience a wide pallet of flavour.
Toki Restaurant caught my eye with its stylish ambiance and Asian-inspired decor—a truly appealing setting. However, I have to say, the food didn't live up to the visual promise.Despite the attractive presentation, the dishes were quite underwhelming, especially considering the price point. It's a place I'd recommend if you're in the mood for fancy cocktails and a visually appealing dining experience, but not if you're after a culinary delight. In short, come for the aesthetics and drinks, not for a memorable meal.
