The Hen & Hog is a gem in Winter Park! 🌟 I visited for a solo lunch and couldn't resist the patty melt with fries - it was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. The decor is both cosy and trendy, making it a great spot to unwind.

Despite being busy, the service was quick, and I appreciated the attentive staff who checked in without being intrusive. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth it for the amazing comfort food. I can't wait to return and dive into their brunch offerings! 🍳🥞

Cool place near downtown winter park! I stopped by alone for lunch on a Saturday, and they were pretty busy.
The line moved along quick enough.
The decor is cool, and comfy feeling.
I got the rye patty melt.
I easily found a table, however there isn’t too much seating available in the place, so keep that in mind.
People were left standing not long after my arrival.
Food arrived promptly, and had great flavor, no complaints here.
The staff came by to check on me once, and I was fine, so nothing was needed.
Pricing was appropriate for the area (which means it’s a little high) as with all venues downtown winter park, parking can be awful, and the streets can be congested depending on the time of day, so keep this in mind.
They have their own parking lot, but that is actually a shared lot with multiple other businesses adjacent to them, so it’s really not a good situation there.
Overall I do recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area and feeling for fatty unhealthy southern comfort food.

As a periodic visitor of Orlando, I scrolled into recommendations to satiate my hunger. Came across this wonderful, owner operated, local, farm to table establishment. Through the final hour before closing, I was in analysis paralysis as I was deciding what to order.
All menu items were well-crafted to an assortment of palates. I decided on the Cheese Curds and Patty Melt w/ Fries. Food was made to order.
Portioned well.
Flavorful. The Owner and his establishment are a peak representation of food with purpose.
Great atmosphere.
Wonderful food experience.
Will definitely be a returning customer. ---------- Ps.- I will be back for dessert.

The menu is very eclectic and interesting.
Probably the best fried green tomatoes we had anywhere.
The pork schnitzel sandwich was awesome-juicy and crisply breaded and so huge I took half home for later.
The smash burger was really good and we loved the beer selection.
We can’t wait to try the brunch next time!
