The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I really wanted to like this place considering we had a good experience in Vegas.
Unfortunately, the food was terrible.
I ordered medium done steak with rice and salad, my friend ordered gyro plate with gyro meat and fries.
The rice was old and crunchy, one of the workers even told us that it was from the bottom of the pan and it would take 45 minutes for a new batch.
The fries were refried and soaked in oil.
My friend requested a fresh batch and were better.
My steak was over cooked and tough.
We let the older gentleman know that we were super disappointed in the food and he tried to do right by offering new food and dessert.
We took the dessert, however now, on my way home, am sitting with a stomach ache.
The best part was the salad.
Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I highly recommend trying this Greek Mediterranean restaurant.
It did not disappoint.
Everything was made to order.
I enjoyed the gyro plate.
I ordered the feta fries because, why not? They are good.
However, we had so much food I would have been satisfied splitting an order.
Next time, we will order less food or bring more people. The appetizers - falafel and dolmades - were both good.
Very fresh and well seasoned. I tried the baklava ice cream, and it was good.
I was already full when I attempted to consume it, but that didn't stop me from finishing it. The dining area was neat, clean, and orderly.
I appreciated that the two TVs were not on to distract from the delicious food.
I chose four stars on the atmosphere only because the decor is a bit plain, though not at all unpleasant.

DO NOT EAT HERE.
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews first and that's my fault.
Came to try this place out as ive driven past it several times.
Had questions on some of the menu items the dolmades and spanakopita.
The cashier said dolmades was a bread that was crunchy like a chip and that spanakopita was a sauce.
That should have been my first sign to leave.
We finished ordering our food and sat down.
About 10 minutes later our food came out.
We ordered the Falafel plate with fries and when I tell you I've have never seen such old wrinkly fries, worst than what you get at a drive thru.
I asked if the fries were fresh and the cashier said yes.
I asked if they can remake mine and while we waited we took a few bites of the rest of our food.
Everything was barely warm and we were really confused because the food just came out.
Something just tasted off and we stopped eating.
They brought out the new set of fries and we sat there just confused as they why the food tasted so odd.
The other person I was with took a few more bites and I made the decision that I just could not continue eating the food because it was so bad.
I went up to the register and let them know our concerns and that we'd like a refund.
The cashier stepped to the back and then a few moments later a woman came from the back, stared at us and then walked to our plates to see how much we had eaten which was a few bites.
They only refunded $40 out of the $47 spent and when I asked why it was not the full amount they could not give me an answer.
The person I came with ended up not feeling well for the rest of the day and had to make multiple trips to the restroom from only a few bites of food.
Do not bother saying you will forward this to your management because as the looks of these reviews nothing is changing.
