Just stopped by the Eagle and wow, was I blown away by this location even though I've been to the one in Cincy and Charlotte! The fried chicken sandwich plus chicken BLT was crispy and juicy, exactly what you hope for in a classic.
But let me tell you, the Carolina pork sandwich was a delightful surprise — perfectly seasoned, with that tangy, rich sauce that just sings.
The ¼ dark meat combo was tender and flavorful, a real treat for dark meat lovers The sides were nothing short of spectacular.
The cornbread was sweet and moist, the greens had that soulful, savory kick, and the fries were crispy golden perfection.
The Mac-n-cheese? Creamy, cheesy, and utterly comforting And the cocktails! If you're a fan of a well-crafted old fashioned, you'll appreciate the effort they put into their drinks.
Each cocktail was a perfect balance of flavors, making this not just a meal, but an experience.
Definitely a must-visit if you're in the mood for some top-notch Southern cooking!

Everything was great, would come back for more. I guess I didn’t get a picture of the chicken itself.
I did 1/4 dark meat, should get the whole half next time. Shrimp and grits is totally worth it. All the sides were good

Found the Eagle in Louisville on open table a few months ago and decided to give it a try last night.
We were impressed with the restaurant, the menu, drink selection and the food!!! We reserved a spot for 9pm and arrived on time! The appetizers ( we tried the jalapeno corn hush puppies and the spicy chicken dip) were 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
For our entrees my wife had the Chicken sandwich with Mac & cheese and I had the braised pork sandwich.
Both were excellent but I warn you the pork sandwich should be eaten with a fork!!!! We tried a sampling of sides and all were very good.
We will be adding the Eagle to our Louisville Restaurant rotation for sure!
