We sat in the back near their service window.
Meaning we heard when our food was done.
First items were the fried balls that tasted like butter and cheap parmesan.
Also, tried reheating them at home and 🤮. Then we’re waiting for the other appetizer of breadsticks.
We hear it called right behind us.
Then we’re waiting.
And waiting .
Dude never comes back to grab them.
Over 5 minutes later I get up to ask if we’re supposed to grab it ourselves.
Now usually I wouldn’t be this bold but we were literally the only people in their when we put an order in.
At that point only 4 other customers were sitting at the bar.
He passed the service window three times.
The person behind the service window rang their bell twice.
The breadsticks get brought to the table by a kitchen worker and they’re cold and dry… Also the pizza was apparently done to and it seemed oily and limp.
Our order couldn’t have been easier.
Two small appetizers and small pizza. As well, for as long as he took to make the drinks .
They came out super strong.
Weren’t very enjoyable or worth the money.

Very chill, laid back place.
Service was awesome.
This might be my new favorite pizza place in the Highlands.
Can't wait to go back and get more of those meatballs

This place is one if those types a businesses that MAKE a city special.
The pizza is delicious, but the entire character of this restaurant makes you want to become a regular.
The building is incredible and has a super interesting history.
If you’re lucky, one if the friendly staff members can school you on what makes it so special.
Next time in Louisville, I’m definitely making a point to visit Diorio’s again!
