The Brass Pearl was an excellent choice for our date night. The food was top notch and on point! The oysters and calamari fries were unbelievably good! For the main entree, we had the daily special (grilled grouper) and the fisherman’s stew…and they were both amazing! The atmosphere was pleasant and calm - great for the date night. The server was very prompt, helpful, and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and honest feedback!
I was in Knoxville for the weekend for work and The Brass Pearl came highly recommended. It’s such a nice oyster bar and seafood restaurant. They also have a wide selection of wines, bourbons and scotch. I took my parents with me and we ordered appetizers and wine. Our order included, scotch, Poet’s Leap Riesling fried oysters, mussels and Oysters Rockefeller. We unanimously said these were some of the best cooked oysters and mussels we’ve ever had.The drinks were delightful too. The service was top tier, our waitress was knowledgeable about all of the offerings and provided us with detailed descriptions. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely too, nice and quiet with pleasant decor. I highly recommend and will go back if I’m ever in town.
The food was really good. They had a nice selection and a wide range of prices, so you can enjoy The Brass Pearl even on a budget. The appetizers are large enough to have as entrees, so prepare yourself. You will definitely have plenty to share with your friends or take home for later! I tried the mussels, which were perfectly cooked. The wine sauce was also a delicious savory treat that you will need more bread to enjoy with it.You won't want to miss a drop. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was a nice sweetish flavor and more toast points (that dip into the mussel sauce very nicely as well). We had the scallop special which was very tasty and came in at $40.The hugely portioned fish and chips was only $18 and also incredibly well made.Perfectly crispy on the outside and yet tender on the inside. Oh and you will want to try the oyster shooters. Not what I was expecting and so so good! The service was also fabulous.Anne was attentive and so very nice. She was a pearl in her own right. The only thing I was not the biggest fan of was the music.Oddly Led Zeppelin would not be my first choice to listen to at this place, which needs something a bit more fitting and a bit less classic rock. All in all, if you are in the mood for some seafood, The Brass Pearl is a tasty find.
