Matt Robb’s Biscuits

Stopped by on a Saturday around 10:30 and some items were indeed already sold out, so just tried a garlic cheddar biscuit, which was very good.
Tried again a little earlier on Sunday and got the special of the day; a blueberry biscuit with egg, cheese and sausage, which was excellent.
The owner is very friendly and the food is cooked to order.
The little shop is located in a walkthrough in the middle of a building and has outdoor seating available, and is in a decent area of downtown Knoxville.
Definitely worth the second trip.

Would give the place 6⭐️’s if I could!!! Personally, loved the chipotle cream cheese and the garlic cheddar biscuit.
Would recommend getting that combo with your fav breakfast sandwich toppings (mine are egg, cheese, sausage patty).
Also, had the homemade hash brown casserole.
It’s was the first time they had ever made it and it was delicious! Hopefully they keep it in the menu going forward because it was the perfect side with the biscuits! Staff - Super friendly and easy to talk with (I assumed was Matt Robb).
He was making the biscuits and ringing you up at the cash register.
A true one man show!!!

I've heard so much about Matt Robb's and finally tried it today.
I was advised to go right when they open as they sell out quickly, so I was there right at 9:00. This is the best biscuit in Knoxville! I'm a true blue southerner, so I've had my fair share of biscuits over the years.
It's hard to find the right balance of flakiness, crumb, lightness, flavor, etc.
and this is the perfect balance.
I like the different daily specials so you can always try something new you might not have thought of! Matt was very kind and hospitable.
It's not everyday you get to interact with the owner of a popular business like this! I'll be back, no question about it.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
