TWAN WAS THE BEST! So attentive, patient, and kind.
He doublechecked to make sure everything was perfect before submitting our order. We were in town for a conference but Bella Ciao is a place I’m familiar with.
Their casual vibe leads one to believe that their food is basic.
LIES! The food is an amazing way to grab some fast Italian without going to an authentic Italian restaurant. Also, don’t be fooled by the lunch menu— the portions are still HEALTHY! We said “if this is the lunch size I think we could have shared the dinner size.” I ordered the pesto pasta and added shrimp because DUH! My sisters ordered pizza and a creamy pasta with bacon.
We all ordered salad as well.
The citrus salad dressing was amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I wished that I could have tried the non-creamy pesto sauce but I don’t think I ordered it right! No problem, I was hungry so I probably wasn’t thinking straight— AND IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS!

Uptown location (keep in mind parking is difficult).
Walked in 4pm and was greeted by host who was friendly.
Restaurant was empty, still staff was noticeably present.
We waited several minutes before Server came to table.
From reading reviews, this happens often.
Service was mediocre.
She took our order no issues but I noticed she didn’t try to upsell whatsoever, did not offer any appetizers or specials, no recommendations.
We both enjoyed our pasta dishes, also noted this restaurant added Parmesan cheese in the kitchen.
Most restaurants will add fresh grated Parmesan at the table, but that was not an option here since the server asked us upon taking our order.
Not a bad experience but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

This is a favorite spot for my husband and I.
We just wanted a place where we could just sit down and have a drink.
They are located in uptown, so parking is and always be a hassle.
The location itself is a fairly big and open concept.
Plenty of seating, and they have bar seating as well.
Everyone from the hostess to our waitor was very friendly and worked efficiently.
This is a somewhat upscale place but still has a casual vibe, which I like.
You don't have to get super dresses up.
They offer salads, pastas, pizza, calzones, and some desserts.
We didn't eat here tonight but have on other occasions and have never had an issue with any of the dishes we have ordered.
If you're looking for a casual spot for dinner, you won't be disappointed if you come here.
