Really happy stumbled upon this place.To start off with- service and food was excellent! We were a party of 3.We all ordered food and shared it! Portions are decent however little expensive from other restaurants I have been to that serve similar food. Their gnocchi by far is the best I have ever had in my life thus far! So different and unique. Things I wouldn’t order is the red marble potatoes- not much flavor and the potatoes were semi raw.Burrata although was delicious, very expensive for the portion size.
Really more of a 4.5 stars. We came here for restaurant week and had a great time, service was really good and the drinks were affordable.The food was pretty good but my Rigatoni was salty and the New York steak under seasoned but perfectly cooked, all other side dishes were really good especially the focaccia, saulmi board and gnocchi fritto. Def would come again and give another chance.
Tavolàta is an Italian restaurant that's part of the Ethan Stowell group of restaurants.They're known for their delicious and tilling pasta dishes, but also their incredible service.Parking around here is almost impossible most nights, so get here at least 10 minutes early to find a spot and walk.Inside there's about 2 dozen tables plus some bar spots.The staff here are so nice and friendly and food comes out quickly which is nice.The prices are a bit high but surprisingly the portions are large for any Italian place.The food is delicious, we didn't have anything that we wouldn't get again. To double down, there was a group before us that sat around for an hour longer so we had to wait for our table.The staff and manager got us some free drinks and appetizers and made sure we were taken care of due to the wait.They handled it extremely well considering the wait and our reservation so if I could give them higher than a 5 for service, I would.
