I dined at Lark last night as a first time visitor to Seattle. The food was good.We ordered the bread service, hamachi crudo and the trotter cake to start.Lauren was our server and she guided us through the meal beautifully.I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the bucatini. We both really enjoyed the dishes but for me, the star was dessert. We had the lemon parfait (which sounds so simple, it was very complex and not a traditional parfait) and the Oaxacan torte. I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem.She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today.I really want to tell her thanks for the incredible experience!
Amazing dinner here with friends.Everyone enjoyed their meals. The only complaint was the emmer bucatini my friend's fiance had didn't have much ragu and was all pasta. Otherwise the "chowder", bread service, elk loin, and duck leg my wife and I had were excellent.Cocktails were tasty as well and definitely recommend the bag pipes in Barbados.
Not bad but not great! We tried the tasting menu and I got the crab bisque, mushroom dashi, duck breast and a dessert.Sadly, the dessert was the best part of my meal.Everything else was just bleh.Service was also a bit lacking as I asked the waiter for a few things and he never brought them.Had to flag down a waitress.Overall, my experience at Lark was underwhelming.
