The biscuits with the honey butter was great! We got brisket and pulled pork. Both were tender and there was plenty to eat.The beans and broccoli cassarole were favorites of ours. The mac was good too.The potato salad was good as well, but it was too much after eating it a bit. I would definitely return!
We decided to visit on our last day, simply because it was close to our apartment. It was one of the best decisions while staying in Boston. Sophia was a very friendly and welcoming host, and I really appreciated her recommendations. You absolutely have to try their buttermilk biscuits. We call them scones in the UK, and those are superb by any UK standard. They can serve them with afternoon tea for all I care. We then tried their pork and brisket combo. Both were absolutely fantastic, and with the sides, the portion was big enough for the two of us. If you still have some space left, have a dessert to share. We tried the pudding, which is served in a jar, like everything else.Adds to the atmosphere.
The biscuits with honey butter😋 are a must-have as always, especially when they come out nice and hot.The ribs are our favorite. The brisket tasted good but be aware that it’s chopped into mush and not sliced.Overall would recommend, we’ve come here for many years, and it was not very busy when we went last minute so it’ll be easy to get a table.
