This was a good place to grab a bite after traveling. It is a food court. There were about 8 fast food places on site many of which were not open. Some I recognized like McDonald's but most I had never heard of.Most selections were rather greasy which happens to not be my preference. There were some kids running around unattended. They didn't bother me much but I could see this could be an issue. There is also a restaurant called the Longwood. That likely has a higher quality food.As someone looking for a quick bite after long business travel I wasn't inclined to sit around and wait.My experience was late afternoon on a Sunday. It was rather dead.So too the lack of shops around on the street surprised me.I would expect more with do many companies so close. So all in all it was very convenient but the quality and selection of food was not great. It's a good place for kids so they can walk around instead of being confined. It's a good option for quick take out of the typical fried food variety, or if you don't mind the food court atmosphere one might expect in a shopping mall.I did not see any other stores.Note it is also at the level above the hotel check in.It was not obvious how one would enter from the street.I got there from the attached hotel.I would not have known it was there from the street. All in all I was glad it was there.I probably would have opted for a sandwich or bagel instead if such a shop had been located on the block, and I probably would have chosen open air dining or a place where kids were not running around playing while I was trying to prepare for a business meeting.
We stayed at the hotel before a big surgery and decided to grab food the night before.Everything was pretty dirty, but it’s a food court.Until later this evening pre-surgery nerves had me walking around after hours and the food court was RUNNING with large mice.I have several videos showing at least 20-30 mice running and scattering across counters, tables, climbing up the glass food cases, etc as I walked through the court. They were literally everywhere.I’ve never seen anything like this. This review is only allowing images to be uploaded, but videos will be shared with management.I’d never eat from any of the establishments in that food court again. This definitely was unsettling and not an ideal “last meal” before having brain surgery.I typically hope that the places I’m eating at are sanitary.
So many choices all in one place! I couldn’t even name them all and I am sorry if I miss any, but: McDonald’s Subway Dunkin Charley’s Philly Steaks Noodles King Bourbon Street And Dragon Bowl. Super convenient, easy to get in and out, most can be ordered online and picked up hot and fresh. If you are on the area, visiting, working, hitting a Sox game, or needing some healthcare, stop in here and skip the hospital food! Your health may depend on it! LOL! See you around The Galleria!
