Middle Eastern restaurant, Yemeni restaurant
I saw the reviews and thought I would have a great experience, so I chose to go there on a special occasion.BUT, MY FIRST EXPERIENCE THERE WAS AWFUL! and the occasion was ruined there. We had a reservation and had to wait for 40 minutes to be seated in a table at the first basement floor. We were first seated at the level below and it was extremely cold, the same temperature as outside. The waitress was rude, bringing tea like throwing it on the table.Three people were serving us, idk why.It was a mess in that busy night. The glass had a lipstick stain on it (from a previous customer probably) and I asked them to change it.They brought an appetizer without bringing any utensils or bread and the waiter was avoiding having an eye contact to see what we want to ask.The main entrees were delicious, but it's not always about the food, the service itself can make a difference.Never gonna go back!!!
This is a rare gem in Boston.Had some Yemeni food in Saudi last year and kept thinking about how good it was. This place didn’t disappoint.Super cute.Excellent food and really helpful staff.Check it out and don’t forget the walnut baklava!
Really wonderful eating here! The food was soo good and the portion is large.I got the lamb mandi and it was really tender. The labnah appetizer blew my mind.
