One employee trading an iPhone for a bunch of weed on 4/6/24, fun stuff.

My name is Jen I had to quit because customers were coming in asking for the manager, saying that she sells drugs on the block.
The manager would have long fingernails on and would be prepping food with no gloves on from meat to veggies to bread, which is so unsanitary to me because long finger nails carry lots of dirt and you shouldn’t be touching peoples lettuce and etc with your bare hands anyways that’s how people get sick.
She would tell me that she is bad at wearing gloves but as a manager, I don’t see how that is appropriate.
Marlena the manager curses the customers out on A daily basis i’m surprised this lady still has her job the way she treat’s the customers.she would tell me that she is bad at wearing her uniform She comes in every day with her normal home clothes and said that as long as the GM isn’t there, we don’t have to wear our uniform.
She expect us to be perfect or she will gossip about her employees to me & told me not to tell them, but would smile in their face and never try to help them acknowledge what they did wrong and show them how to do it the right way instead she would call them dumb and say they can’t comprehend stuff that she never taught them.
She was also racist to the Mexicans that would come in pretending like she couldn’t speak Spanish when she CAN trying to be funny putting me in a very awkward situation.
The manager would gossip about all of her employees, & would refer to some of them as “that girl” or pretend like she didn’t even know some of her employees names.
I didn’t even get interviewed! when I brought my application back a couple days later She told me that they needed people that same day & if I could work that day, my application hadn’t even been looked at yet, nor did I get interviewed.
I got hired that same day & she left me in the store by myself the same day when I didn’t know what to do customers were walking in, and I was Embarrassed, asking them if they know how their sandwich should be made because I didn’t .
just to go out to eat.
The manager Marlena told me that the GM knows that she be selling drugs, & that they are just so close that he doesn’t care.
when I quit she tried to come into the lobby and fight me.
Then fired my boyfriend for no reason, & then had her boyfriend assault my boyfriend right outside of the store, where there’s cameras and nothing was done about it.
While she stood out there and laughed at the whole situation like it was funny.
The manager does not care about her employees neither does the GM Thomas.
He did not want to call or ask if we were OK or what happened in fact, after I quit, I asked to have the GM’s number so I can report her unprofessionalism to him and she told me that he said that he cannot give it out and that he doesn’t want to which just tells me that he approves the bad behavior.
he just instantly took the manager story even though she is a liar & he doesn’t know the abuse of power and unprofessionalism as a manager going on in the store nor do I think the GM Thomas cares.
THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WORST JOB I HAVE EVER WORKED AT there would be five people in line, & I would be the only one on the line employees just sit there and watch & nothing is done about that when I would tell the manager she would not care.
it’s a shame I live across the street and am now banned from my own shopping center because of a sorry manager with weird intentions definitely feel bad for a couple of the customers that got treated weird by her and employees that would come to me and express some of the weird behavior they have experienced as well.
I wish I can go back in time & would of NEVER worked here.

this is a picture of her just Smiling, thinking things are funny while her boyfriend assaulted mines ? I’m confused why a grown woman thinks that this is a joke? When this is peoples lives that you are Playing with Peoples money, time, days, peoples careers, first impressions on small businesses etc.
You can really tell a child trapped in a grown woman’s body and this is who they choose to have running their store.

Great atmosphere and very welcoming when I came in! Marlana and Lisa went out of there way to make fresh meatballs for me and my friends I brought in with me.
They had great conversation as well.
Definitely will be returning!
