Steak 'n Shake

This is my first time in a long long while going to Steak & Shake! And it was a great experience! We were welcomed as soon as we entered the building and invited to ask questions if we had any. The self-ordering kiosks were convenient and easy to use (though there was an older couple nearby struggling to figure it out) The food came out in a few minutes. Burger tasted very good and the onion rings were delightful! The Nutella shake, chosen by my son, which very good- not something I expected to like, but there were little bits of Nutella throughout! My kids keep asking to go back.
We shall certainly return- this is a good choice!

Shake was better a thicker than Wendy’s.
Sandwich was made as customized and lettuce pickles were fresh.
Fries though narrower, perfectly crunchy and sauce perfect all for under $15.00 including tip.
Restaurant very clean.

The DOUBLE GARLIC BURGER, added extra cheese and sautéed onions was super delicious.
I’ve never ventured beyond the double burger but this garlic burger just blew up everything I thought I knew about Steak n Shake.
I hadn’t eaten at Steak ‘n Shake in almost 15 years before tonight.
My teenage daughter insisted she wanted to try it for dinner due to social media videos 🙄🙃— so here we are! We have been die hard fans of Shake Shack forever.
But I have to say, I’ve never had anything like this garlic burger before at Shake Shack or anywhere for that matter! As you can see we cleared our plates.
The shakes were Nutella and strawberry and both were, in a word, YUM! So if you hadn’t tried this place in a while, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Other call-outs— - love the kiosk ordering and not feeling pressured when ordering. - price was average.
Family of four ate for 48 bucks with upgraded combo sides (onion rings and cheese fries) and 2 milkshakes. - staff was super friendly and helpful - the condition of the dinning room was mixed.
It could use a deep cleaning but the kitchen (which you can see) looked cleaner than the dinning room.
