1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is not cheap, but the portion sizes are generous and match the price of the items. They offer both cash and credit card prices. The mochi donuts are a standout item on the menu and are highly recommended. They are delicious and worth trying. The pho is made with bone broth, which is a nice touch, but some customers may find the soup to be less salty than they prefer.Adding salt can enhance the flavor of the soup. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and relaxing. There is one area for dining in and another sofa area for sitting and relaxing. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or to enjoy a meal alone. One suggestion I have for the restaurant is to consider making the portion sizes smaller and lowering the prices. This could attract more customers who are looking for a more affordable option. Overall, 1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is a great place to visit if you’re looking for delicious Vietnamese street food and bubble tea.The mochi donuts are a must-try!
I wish I could give this place 6 stars! The food was incredible, and the portions were generous.Great value. The hand made shrimp and pork egg rolls are not to be missed.Friendly and helpful staff as well.
I was not impressed by this place what so ever. The menu has 2 prices, there’s a cash price than there’s a card price….The prices here are outrageous compared to the portions that you get. I paid over $17 dollars for a combination pho which was a regular medium size compared to other Vietnamese place. The average price of a pho should be anywhere from $14.95 to $16.95 and the portions at others are decent. The pho here had some oily taste to it which I didn’t enjoy. The meat portions were small for the price. The pork rolls and shrimp came with peanut sauce that had some weird fried onion of some sort in it which is weird. My uncle ordered the bulgogi banh mi, when it came out it looked like it was on Texas toast….Why put it on the banh mi section of it’s not really banh mi.We asked the cashier why that is and all she could say is that if it’s a fusion flavor it will come on the sliced bread which is really confusing. They should really separate the menu or at least mention it to customers about that.Tried to order drinks with my pho but they don’t have any soda’s what so ever.Pho and a boba or fruity drink is not a good combination.I asked for water and all she could do was point to where it was, as you can see the water cups are small which forces you to go get more many times over and over. The squid tamerid was okay… could be a little crisper in my opinion. The Thai milk tea was not impressive, was not sweet enough.Everything here is over priced, there are other places that sell the same thing for better prices and quality if you know where to look.My wife and I spent over $80 here for lunch and left unsatisfied and still a little hungry.I don’t mind paying big money for great food but this was not anywhere near great or even good. The donuts were pretty good, nice and hot when it came out.The mango dessert was also decent but both worth the over $8.50 I was charged for.I will not be returning here again….Areas for improvements are better prices and bigger portions. If you’re gonna charge big prices then give big portions.Just remember these are my opinions and everyone is different. So this business replied back to me , instead of taking criticism like all other businesses… All I read was excuses on why they over charge, and if I wanted my drink to be sweeter all I had to do was say so.They talk about how I shouldn’t compare them to other like businesses.Well get used to it!!! People will always compare you to other businesses, it’s human nature.Instead of making excuses how about saying sorry for your experience and we will look in to this.I have seen other negative comments on here and this establishment chooses to be combative. If you can’t take criticism than you should have a restaurant.Your customer service is horrible, your cashiers and staff needs to learn the menu when ppl like us ask.Don’t call your bread a banh mi if it’s not a banh mi.You may want to put that in another section of the menu or at least explain it when ppl order it so they won’t be surprised.I have a gave a lot of reviews over the last few years and this was one of the worst response I have ever gotten. You could have asked for me to try your food again and I would have gave you a review based to the new visit.Service star is now a one based on your replied and how it made me feel.
Owner response
Thank you for your visit and share out your opinion.Just want you to know, bulgogi bánh mì it’s our French bread that custom made for us from our bakery not just regular bread that you had. That’s why we called Bulgogi Bánh Mì.It’s our special made to not the same as the other. Our broth Pho is made 100% simmered straight out from hundreds pounds of bones more than 24 hours NO MSG ADDED.It’s worth it for every spoons you have not just the price that you mentioned.I don’t want to compare our to the other places , just experience of everyone is different.Everything has gone up since pandemic. If your grocery budget gone up lately, so we are too.Drinks ..you can have sugar level or could ask for extra sweet with no extra charged if you like it sweeter. We don’t offer Soda in store since we are selling boba drinks and fruits drinks not a regular restaurant.I hope you can have a happier life.
