Ssyal, what a treat it was! Let me get into it. It’s been a while since I have been able to have Korean style chicken soup.
It brought back memories of when I lived in South Korea and could get it anytime I wanted.
The food was hands down as good as when I had it in Korea.
Maybe not 100% identical.
I do think the soup base was really good and the egg dish was amazing and the seafood pancake was good but, seemed like the batter they used was really fluffy and made the pancake really thick.
The service was okay.
The shorter waitress really seemed kind of rude to my friend and I.
The taller waitress was very friendly and kind.
I did like how they had eye catching things in the walls and the music was very nice to hear.
Overall, I will say give Ssyal a try if you want home style Korean chicken soup.
It will make you feel better instantly!

Had a spontaneous lunch here with some friends and we were blown away by the service and quality of food! They were also able to make accommodations for vegetarians, which was so appreciated.
We ordered the veggie dumplings, seafood pancake (adjusted to be vegetarian), jap chae and bibimbap.
Everything was amazing, highly recommend!

We had an exceptional dining experience at Ssyal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Korean rib soup and bulgogi.
The rib soup had a rich, flavorful broth that was both comforting and invigorating, while the bulgogi was cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of sweetness and savory.
Each bite was a delightful journey through traditional Korean flavors.
The ambiance of the restaurant added to our enjoyable experience, making it a perfect spot for both family dinners and friendly gatherings.
Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine!
