Vegan Gyro Top Notch! Made with seitan seasoned well and the cucumber sauce is phenomenal! Soulful Steak very delicious! They have Karaoke and DJ on Friday and Saturday Evening’s 10pm-1pm Buffet style food available.
An abundance of great options. My only huge concern is that some of the food contains GMO soy which is toxic and harmful to anybody. Non GMO is natural and safe so we hope that they will do research and not use any products that have chemicals in it and use all natural and organic products.

Located on the Southside of Chicago, IL., Soul Veg City is an amazing restaurant that serves great food, juices, sweets, and smoothies. I wanted to experience plant-base food.
The food is prepared with love and respect.
The hotbar had some amazing things to choose from, so I picked cabbage, beans, bbq tofu, and cauliflower.
Everything was seasoned so well! I also tried the fresh juice.
Wow!!! The service was great! I had help from the staff, and they showed me the process of the restaurant with patience.
There's a lovely group of people working to make everyone's experience exceptional. The atmosphere is my favorite.

The music took me back home, where you smelled great food in the air being cooked by family.
I loved the art and pictures.
I loved how people were there to talk and eat.
It was like a coffee house vibe with a beautiful twist. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated Soul Veg City's food! The experience was amazing!

I'm visiting Chicago and was surprised to find a vegan restaurant near East Chatham. This restaurant is like Subway in that they give you the food you want, and you pay for it at the register. My food was weighed and came up to around $14.
I had scoops of zucchini and cabbage casseroles with a bit of rice.
The taste was fantastic.
They restaurant was busy but not overly crowded.
The employees were very polite and friendly.
