This place has awesome food ...
it's a huge establishment with 2 separate sides.
On 1 side its treated as a regular sit down restaurant.
On the other side, it's buffet style.
U can get the lunch buffet for $25.00 & get 2 plates of whatever they have that particular day or you can pay $40.00 & do all you can eat ...
as I stated, the food is delicious & the staff super friendly ...
they are a black owned & run establishment that's been there for 42 years.
We're from Detroit Michigan & they made us very comfortable.
If you're ever in the area, I HIGHLY recommend you go here

The dressing was definitely made with jiffy mix🥹. We had a party of approx 18.
We decided to do the family feast which included baked chicken, fried chicken, fried fish, green beans, greens, Mac and cheese, corn muffins and dressing.
Peach cobbler for desert.
Was not worth the money.
You can tell the food was previously cooked and just rewarmed.
Chicken was not cooked all the way though.
Green beans had no seasoning.
The Mac and cheese was actually the only thing I’d give a 4/5 on. They ended up charging the card more than what they should’ve and told us they couldn’t reverse it. The atmosphere was nice and quiet… there was nobody there.
Customer service was ok but I definitely would not be going back there. And did I mention the dressing was made with jiffy mix! Or they put sugar in it.
Either way it’s a hard no for me. Oh and the peach cobbler looked like slop and was not appetizing at all

My friends and I decided to have lunch at Josephine's SoulFood Buffet.
The hospitality was awesome! Most of the food was good, the fried chicken was awesome! When it came to the peach cobbler, banana pudding, cornbread, and Mac & cheese they can't touch St.
Louis.
"There's no place like home!"
