San Jose Mexican Restaurant

I visited this restaurant last night for the first time! Our waiter was phenomenal! He was quick and patient and made sure to check on us a good amount of times.
We ordered the camarones* seafood chimis and chicken fingers and fries.
All the food was hot and delicious.
My chemistry had a lot more sauce than I expected, but when I asked for it to be remade, it was taken car of without malice.
It was an all around great experience, and I will definitely be back.

The moment you walk in the door it’s absolutely beautiful , the decor is Eye catching .
Our service was ok there were several times our waiter was taking awhile to refill our drinks and be available when we needed certain things .
Overall the food was pretty good , they don’t have several choices for hot sauce just one mainly and it wasn’t to spicy which we were a bit disappointed if your on the spicy end of things .
The molcajete was the most delicious one , the shrimp chimichangas was ok I wasn’t a big fan of the crab meat mixed in ,.
They did have a delicious melon water , and horchata and Jamaica waters .
( fruit , Style fresh water drinks ) pricing was reasonable not to expensive .
Its location is in a shopping plaza with stores around if shopping is in the schedule .
We got to sit near the window and catch view of the fountain and the water way that is the plaza area , very beautiful.
Atmosphere was very welcoming , and the only downfall was they had issues with the women’s bathroom , the water was not functioning to wash your hands so they had a bucket and a styrofoam cup to wash your hands .
The bathroom was not very clean and I expected it to be especially once you walk into the restaurant.
Hopefully they got that issue fixed but i definitely would recommend checking this place out .

An unexpected customer service fee at the end further discourages a return visit. Service / Atmosphere: 3.1 The waitress provided excellent service, and the establishment itself is both attractive and clean.
However, interactions with the manager felt insincere, and a surprise 3% service fee, explained only after payment as a credit card fee, left a sour taste.
This practice undermines trust and suggests a lack of transparency.
Incorporating such costs into menu prices might be a more straightforward approach. Food: Nachos Supreme: 4.9 An average dish where the beef lacked seasoning and there wasn't enough cheese, although it was served quickly and hot. Chicken Quesadilla: 1.1/10 Both the appearance and taste were disappointing, making it a regrettable choice.
The lack of attention from the manager, even when the dish was clearly untouched, highlighted a disconnect in customer care. Tacos de Birria: 6.1/10 A pleasant surprise, these tacos stood out with flavorful tortillas and sauce, elevating them above the typical street taco. Tacos de Carne Asada: 3.9/10 These suffered from extremely dry tortillas and a lack of sauce, making them nearly inedible without borrowing sauce from another dish. Value: 6.1/10 At $63 before tip for three people, with plenty of leftovers, the quantity of food seems generous.
However, the overall taste and experience didn't justify the expense, especially when considering the additional service fee.
