I never thought to try this place until I noticed it was right across from Barnes and Noble.
It was actually pretty decent.
It wasn’t too busy so you could walk in and sit anywhere and then order the counter when you were ready.
The wings are really tasty, crispy and large.
The lechon was very flavorful.
The potato salad was okay.
I would definitely go back to try this place again.

Lechon Latin BQQ & Bar is bomb! Every bite packed a flavorful punch to my tastebuds.
Everything is made-to-order, and it's fresh and hot! There's a lot of options on the menu and it is authentic.
I love how everything was presented and prepared.
The yuca fries are the best I've ever had from any local restaurant.
They are hot, crispy and flavorful.
The elote salad is yummy and well-balanced, and you get a lot of it.
The jerk chicken sandwich blew my darn mind.
The bun was perfectly toasted and loaded with chicken, pineapple, & slaw.
The dessert fried empanadas are filled with love & deliciousness.
The dessert fried empanadas contained an amazing and tasty cheesecake filling! The Aja Amarillo sauce is bomb and pairs well with the yuca fries.
The service and atmosphere were spectacular.

We saw an article featuring BBQ Restaurants in The Triangle area in Southern Living, and one of the restaurants mentioned was Lechon; a Latin BBQ restaurant.
I have been living in the South for a while and am pretty picky about BBQ, but was impressed by the succulent pulled pork and the fall-off-the-bone pork ribs.
As sides, fried Tostones and sweet plantains were both fantastic! You might want to add authentic Latino sauce to the Tostones since it's only 50 cents.
You get two choices of meat with two sides for $18.99! Portions are very generous, too.
You won't regret trying this restaurant!
