This place has been standing for a long time now.
Long due for a renovation.
The food has changed drastically over the years.
The deserts no longer available because the person who made them is now retired.
I ate family style here, the food was still good but not great like decades ago.
This places has almost every variety of Vietnamese/Chinese dish, but not sure if they actually make all of them anymore.

Have only done take out here and never eaten in.
Giant menu.
The egg drop soup large is enough for 2 meals and the best egg drop soup I have ever had which is why we keep going back.
Nothing has ever been terrible but it can be inconsistent.
If you call ahead for take out, expect to wait.
Don’t rush to get there because if they tell you 25 min, it will be 25 min, maybe a little longer if they are busy cuz it’s a a big place.

Saigon is one of those places I don't mind going but wouldn't necessarily recommend to others.
Most of the food tends to be decent and consistent, with some letdowns (the crispy duck is wildly overcooked).
The drinks are pretty good.
Service is decent enough.
The wait can be very long - especially if you come in with a family but are doing separate dishes.
Some people will have their food up to 30 minutes before others.
I do think the family meals are quite good and worth it. For what it's worth, my Vietnamese father-in-law goes here occasionally, but we tend to other places unless we're doing family dinners with more people.
