Pho restaurant, Noodle shop
My kid and I enjoy coming to this place to have a nice Vietnamese soup.Their style is you sit down , order and eat in a rather quick manner.Their customer service skills stadards are low, but i dont need high customer service skills to go and have a nice meal with my kid. They are fast, if you know what to order, they'll even take your order as you sit down. They bring your food within minutes. Then all you have to do is enjoy a nice soup. They also serve hot tea, bears and Thai tea boba. They always have seats available.I highly recommend this place.Parking is not that great but there is parking.
The parking lot is very small especially if you drive a big vehicle so be careful when you go. I went here because the reviews were pretty good and I was in the area looking for Vietnamese food. This spot is an authentic spot down to being somewhat crowded. I had the pho with the sliced rib eye steak and brisket. Our pho arrived pretty quickly which was good because they were pretty busy. One thing I always do is I have to try the broth before I put anything in. I took a sip of the broth and it was ok… it wasn’t the best I had.I tasted fresh compared to others but it seems like lacks some flavor to me but it could been just me.The steak tasted like every other steak I had at the pho spots however, their brisket was really good! I enjoyed the brisket a lot if I come back I will order double of the brisket. Overall, it’s definitely not the worst nor is it the best.I tell everyone to give a place a try for themselves despite how others review it because to each their own.
I wasn’t impressed with the taste.I’m not a fan of their broth because it’s too cloudy for my taste.Very little cilantro in the bowl and that would lessen the aromatic flavor I’ve always been looking for in a Pho.The place was packed when I came, or looked like always packed because this place is famous and one the oldest Pho place in SD.They have a great flavor of Thai tea tho. Service? Well, straight to the point, lack of emotion, it’s typical 😅
