Raf Restaurant

We came to this place for lunch on our last day in Rome as our hotel was just opposite to this restaurant and it was recommended by the reception staff. The people in this restaurant were very friendly, and the food was great with generous portion.
Service was efficient too.
We ordered 3 pasta dishes and a starter dish. The prawns with guacamole sauce was tasty, would prefer if it was served as a proper chilled dish. I read good comments about the cacio pepe raf pasta on Google so I decided to go for the same and it did not disappoint me.
All pasta dishes were very generous portions, but I finished the whole plate because it was so good. My parents ordered a cod fish pasta and a tomato sauce bacon ragitoni.
They are both good, we didn’t manage to finish as the portion was generous for us. The service was tentative as they gave us small plates to share the food which is what Asian love to do all the time :) my impression of Italy has changed lately as from my memory, the waiters in Italy used to frown when they hear us asking for small plates. But during my visit this time, everyone has been very understanding and nice about it. I would love to come back to this place again and try other dishes.
I regret that I didn’t get to try the truffle ice cream as I was too full and had to dash to the airport after the meal!

We randomly chose this place as we walked down the street.
With no plan, we looked over the menu which seemed straight forward.
The food, however, was anything but.
The burger was perfectly cooked with enough to fill the breakfast/lunch gap! We also got the mozzarella balls.
This mozzarella, after 4 days in Italy so far, is the absolute best we've had! Flavorful! Thank you Manuel for assisting us on this experience!

This was the best restaurant we went to while visiting Italy for the first time.
We went to Milan, Como, Venice, Florence and now Rome and this one is my sister and I’s favorite.
It’s classy, air conditioned, clean, reasonably priced, has friendly and attentive servers, and the food (I got lasagna twice) and cappuccinos are delicious.
We ate here three times while in Rome for three days.
Definitely come here if you can!! (:
