Best pasta in Rome, located in a beautiful little alley, very quiet and not very busy (and hopefully it will stay as is) There are few tables so if you’re a large group I would suggest to take away and not seat there Highly recommended!!

Thank you very much Tal for your review!! 😊🍝
Great, quick place to grab delicious pasta after the Vatican! It’s just a couple steps away from St Peter’s Basilica.I’ve been here twice now on 2 separate trips and both times absolutely loved it.It’s quick, the workers are friendly, and the pasta is YUMMY.The 4 cheese one isn’t written on the menu but it was really good if you like a little blue cheese.
There is something very satisfying about seeing your food prepared fresh right in front of you.And the meal only taking 10 minutes from order to table (just enough time to make the perfect al dente pasta) makes it even more special. We were a group of four and half ordered calcio e Pepe with lime and the other half amatriciana and we were all pleased. The portion sizes are more than ample so you leave full and with just enough space to get gelato around the corner. This pasta refueled everyone after the Vatican museum and climbing St Peter’s dome. The Staff is friendly and they speak English if you need it. It is a take out place so seats are limited to a couple tables outside and a 4 chairs at a small bar inside so if you can wait to eat, there’s a park a 10 min walk away behind Castle San Angelo called Parco della Mole Adriana where you can eat or you can sit on the steps below Angel bridge in front of Castle St Angelo and watch the Tiber River flow by. If you are on the hunt for the perfect calcio e Pepe in Rome this is your place.
