I typically don’t leave bad reviews, as I understand that sometimes a store or restaurant can just be having a bad day.
This isn’t one of those however.
For starters, around 3 or 4, a table of about a dozen people were told out of the blue that they had to leave.
I didn’t quite know what was being said, so I didn’t think much of it until about 30 minutes later.
Management had removed this group from their tables… so that the owner and their friends could sit there. Obviously this showed me that they don’t care for their customers too much.
Considering they would kick out their paying customers with no notice just so they could sit there (I have no problem with owners wanting to use their own tables, but if you do plan it ahead so honest paying customers aren’t being kicked out).
Eventually, a lady who was related to the owner came to our table to tell us to be more positive.
State was down 15 with like 3 minutes left, and while we 100% support them I feel like it’s normal to be down about the loss.
When we told this lady that this was a big ask, she then responded with something about having to kick us out if we aren’t more positive.
Even if this is a joke, telling customers jokingly that you’ll have to kick them out for something like this isn’t a good look.
I honestly won’t be coming back here, which is a shame because the food was good and the service was fantastic!

Solid neighborhood sports bar with good eats across the street from NC State.
You’ll be hanging out with locals who’ve been coming in for decades, professors talking shop, college kids on date night or just hanging out with friends.
The service is friendly the food is homey.
I recommend anything with PR sauce on it (ribs, wings, etc).
The PR sauce is a sweet vinegar mild hardly Buffalo sauce that just manages to tic all the boxes.
There’s a bunch of beer choices and a truly impressive collection of single malt Scotch whiskies as well as a full range of other liquor.
Bottom line, PR is a good destination for the game or just to grab a bite/drink.

First experience here & Louis was here to make it 10x times better! Great whiskey & lemonade & fresh bar food!!! Amazing salads, too! Empty plates...Do I really have to say how good the food is?
