To start off, the food was exceptional.
Choices were good, and the menu was diverse enough to have something for everyone.
Restaurant decor was lovely and servers were knowledgeable.
However - parking is kind of terrible (admittedly not the restaurants fault, but still true), food came out pretty slow, and for being fine dining, the dining area was fairly loud.
Would I go again? Probably? I’d make sure to go during a less busy time though.

Just don't eat their bread based products and you'll love it.
Mandolin oysters were incredible as was my fresh fish of the day.
Loved the artichoke on my main plate.
The cornbread was more like dried out pound cake than cornbread, which is a shame because this restaurant claims it's southern focused/themed.
Chicken for chicken and waffles was excellent.
Waffles (another bread based product) were literally rock hard.
They clinked on the plate.
We almost thought it was a joke given how stale/over cooked they were.
Honestly, I'm not sure if this is intentional on the chefs part or was an accident, but it kind of ruined the meal for my wife.
Service was incredible, we loved the restaurant itself and it was otherwise a great time.
I'd be willing to return if there was better quality control on certain items cited above.

We had a team dinner in the private room because they seat more than 20 people.
Mandolin is known for their fresh, farm to table culinary creations and has been a favorite for over a decade.
The team loved the cornbread, salads, butternut squash soup and duck frites.
The only complaint was with the steak entree.
The ones that were ordered medium came out very pink and raw.
Service was great and overall a great restaurant to showcase the Raleigh food scene.
