I ordered takeout, and the sweet-and-sour chicken was excellent! I like a lot of sweet-and-sour sauce, I always ask for extra, and I'm the one that put it on the food.The chicken was tender, moist, and fried to perfection.The sweet-and-sour sauce was delicious, too! Looking forward to going back to this restaurant while I'm visiting Raleigh. P.S.The food looked much better than the photo.😄
Absolute garbage. I think this restaurant must have changed hands a few years ago. It was once one of our favorite places but has really declined significantly in recent years. Last week we decided to give it one last try. We walked into the place at around 7:30pm on Friday night. Place was Empty! The General's Chicken was a massive heap of greasy fried breading. No discernible chicken was found. My stomach ached that night and the next day. I guess the biggest clue was that the lady running the place was seen eating her homemade dinner from a Pyrex portable container. She doesn't even eat the food there. LOL. See attached photo.
