We went to plates on a Saturday and sat at the bar, there was no wait which was fantastic.Tye was our server and he was so chill and on top of everything. We ordered the Deviled Eggs for a starter and the Crab Benedict and Breakfast sandwich for our mains.Everything was so fresh and the portions were so generous. We’re from ATL visiting and it’s rare you find a nice little place like this with impeccable service and amazing fresh food.We will definitely be back and don’t forget to ask for Tye at the bar!! I must also mention that parking is free on the weekend which is a plus!
Plates is a solid neighborhood go to restaurant. The food is very good. But they try to sell themselves as an upscale restaurant in their website which is at odds with their more casual feel with redirect to ambiance.Service was good but again not what I would expect for top tier that they are going for but perfectly good for a neighborhood staple.Food was great (gotta try the lamb cheeks!) and a nice wine list.Good place for a nice meal.
We enjoyed brunch today. This was our first time eating here.We made a RSVP and our table by a window was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed the Vanilla latte and cappuccino. Each item we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. We will definitely come back and recommend.
