I’m really seeing some changes with this theater.A few years ago, a lot of the leather seats were ripped and the patches were becoming torn up as well. But fast forward, the seats have either gone a while over haul, or completely replaced. Food and popcorn has always been really good.In fact I think the popcorn is popped in coconut oil? Maybe avocado oil.I do like their tots.A couple times I’ve been a little early for my movie and ate at the bar and had a drink before the movie started. Prices are half price on Tuesdays. So I come after work if there is something I want to see.
This place used to be better than Alamo in almost all aspects (except vibe/decor, which was always lamer — especially the pre-show entertainment) but in the past few years the food and drink quality dipped so low that it's hardly worth going here vs Alamo. The seats are comfortable but that's about all I can say it has going for it.
Prepaid the day before to request seats and be sure we had a space for a 4:30 show on a Thursday.Could have saved myself $6 if we went in but wanted to be sure.Got there for HH pricing which was $6 apps for a few and $1 off beer. After 3 tickets at $48 and apps/dinner one drink we spent an additional $98 on food with tip.The movie was good, the service was great. The food was good too! The seats were a little worn in our theater but didn’t effect much.If we go again probably won’t plan to use the movie night as a dinner time too for $ sake.Fun experience in a rainy day while visiting over spring break.
