I love Mother's breakfast and bbq.
They have one of the best breakfast options in Macon.
They even do brunch on Saturday until 3.
They also have good soul food and good BBQ plates.
And the pricing is really reasonable.
When I went for breakfast last, I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of scrambled eggs and pancakes.
Delicious!!!!

My experience here was excellent.
We ordered several items: fried chicken, cheese eggs and French toast ( Highly Recommend), shrimp and grits plus 2 sides of fish, beef sausage, chicken sausage and breakfast potatoes! The pineapple pink lemonade was amazing.
The customer service, knowledge of menu items and great recommendations was refreshing.
I felt at home here and the food was delicious.
I like my grits a touch more dense and not too runny but it worked well the potatoes, shrimp and fish! The chef was smiling and happy, friendly ( spoke to us as the employees welcomed us in) we were checked on and asked about our experience.
I’m so happy we stopped in and skipped the hotel breakfast.
These meal reminded me of weekends at my mother in law house with all our family.
Even though it wasn’t crowed when we patronized it, it felt full of love and family!

I was told this place had good bacon.
I mean, and that was it too.
My order was $18 and some change.
I ordered bacon, cheese grits, soft fried eggs, and breakfast potatoes.
Eggs were hammered..
i mean, good and tough..
not a soft yolk in sight, grits and breakfast potatoes didn't have an ounce of seasoning, and how you sell breakfast and dnt have any type of breakfast juice, i was so disappointed.
But my brother said, "Hey, i only said the bacon was good ...
That's the only thing I enjoyed was the bacon.
