Salvadoran restaurant
Montecristo Restaurant 2 serves up authentic Salvadoran delights on Mission Street in San Francisco, drawing in locals and tourists alike with its cozy, casual vibe. Known for the “best pupusas ever” and a menu filled with comfort foods, this family-friendly spot offers options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as outdoor seating for sunny days. While the service can be a bit slow during busy times, the delicious food, especially the coffee, makes it well worth the visit. Enjoy a meal with friends and share some small plates for an inviting dining experience.

September 03, 2024Montecristo Restaurant 2 has quickly become one of my go-to spots for Salvadoran comfort food! The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place for solo dining or sharing a hearty meal with friends.
I absolutely loved the pupusas - they're definitely some of the best I've ever had! The horchata was a tasty treat, too (though I would skip it next time!).
Service was a tad slow during the busy weekend rush, so just be patient, and know that the delicious food is worth the wait! Highly recommend for a casual dining experience... 🌟
