If I’d come back here again, I’d get the mezzemaniche boscaiola; I love their rigatoni. I would avoid their Roman pizza.Biggest red flag is the fact they use fresh fior di latte (basically cow’s mozzarella) but don’t put it under intense heat, causing the water not to evaporate and leaving a wet, orange mess on top, as in the pictures. This is why there are special pizza ovens for pizzas that use fresh mozzarella, like pizza tonda or neopolitan-style pizza; ideally you want the water to evaporate while not causing the oil to separate from the cheese. Also, there are two styles of Roman pizza, pizza alla pala (or al taglio) and tonda, of which the margherita was more the former, but it was mostly neither. All in all it made for an unpleasant pizza. The pasta itself was great! They kept it al dente, which is the only objective way to cook pasta, and the pasta amitriciana, one of the four Roman pastas and my personal favourite (carbonara but with a red sauce, cmon now) was to die for. The focaccia was disappointing; the underdevdloped crumb structure and soft exterior makes it a bit floppy and underbaked, imo. Overall, a mediocre place saved by pasta, the stars of the show.
I am surprised how I didn't find out earlier about this place.I love the interior, very modern and floral.Food is amazing, fairly priced, good portions, and nicely plated 🍽.All that wouldn't be the same without their amazing and super friendly staff, Antonio is definitely a 🌟 of this place, his energy is everything. The hostess was very nice too sadly I forgot her name. I will most definitely come back again soon to check what else they have.
An amazing Italian spot with delicious food and great service. We were a bit worried about the long wait on Friday night as they don’t accept reservations, but thanks to the really effective work of the hostess we were seated in 10 minutes after arriving. The ambiance of the place and the service during our dinner was great as well.We went with salmon fettuccine and eggplant parmigiana and really enjoyed our plates.Portions were generous and sauce’s just delicious.I also liked the Valencia Dream cocktail - gin based with a fresh note of strawberry is a perfect combination. So our overall experience at this place was very good and i definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking not only for delicious Italian food but also for the ambience
