If you’re looking for authentic Turkish food in Seattle, Miss Cafe is the place to go.We are Turks who happened to be staying in the area and were lucky enough to find this place on Google Maps.It was absolutely amazing!! Their manti and lahmacun took me straight back to Turkey, and I would definitely go back again.I hadn’t had my favorite dessert, künefe, in so long, so I was incredibly pleased with the künefe here.It was better than others I’ve tried in America, and the cheese was the perfect consistency.Overall, I had a really great experience and a filling dinner.Great Turkish food in a small restaurant run by Turkish people in the heart of downtown Seattle..what more could you ask for?
We were looking for Shakshuka on our breakfast trip to Pike Place. It’s slightly hidden if accessed from Post Alley but easy to find if you come through 1st Ave.They give you the option for beef or pepperoni for the shakshuka, we chose beef.It was hot cheesy and so delicious.Comes with one slice of Turkish flatbread and a small salad, olives. We also got some Turkish bagels (or Palestinian Kaek), that was warm and soft, nice and fresh.Came with a side of Nabuls cheese and another salad.I highly recommend the Turkish coffee to complete your meal.saH!
Miss Cafe is a small and quaint cafe located in downtown Seattle, I tried this place for the first time in July and thank goodness for outdoor seating because there is no AC inside and it felt like an oven. The customer service could’ve been better and there were food items that I wanted to try but weren’t available.I forgot what everyone ordered but the food was flavorful and temperature nice and hot.Next time I’m in the mood for Turkish food I will definitely go back for another visit!
