We’ve eaten at Purple a couple of times now and we’ve been impressed with the service and the consistent quality of the food. The decor is urban chic with an impressive wine tower that dominates the great room.I started with a Purple salad which was delicious.I moved on to one of the dinner specials, which the night I was there was a mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. It was rich but delicious. The proximity to theaters and the quality of the food and service make this attractive restaurant an easy choice for us when we visit Seattle to watch a show or a concert.
Celebrated my bday and it was an exquisite experience. The ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of options available on the menu. From flavorful salads to creative vegetable-based entrees, Purple catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality. The wine selection was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable. Overall, my visit to Purple Cafe and Wine Bar surpassed my expectations, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their delectable offerings again.
A nice upscale restaurant/bar in downtown Seattle. The wine selection in this place is quite impressive: you can tell that the moment you entered the restaurant 😉 We ordered the roasted cauliflower, roasted duck and a seafood pasta. We couldn’t decide which is the best because we like all of them! Would definitely recommend!
