McDonald's

We were craving fast food after a long drive home from Denver. Our order was 80% correct.
Staff was goofing around and being silly, but efficient, which I would rather have than grumpy and lazy. Our number was displayed clearly on our table, yet the staff member delivering the food to our table completely disregarded it and asked if we were a different number.
Shortly after, we received our order. After asking for water, we brought huge cups of water with ice and a straw and an enthusiastic smile. Nuggets were hot, crisp and yummy.
Filet-o-fish was very good but lacked enough tartar sauce.
Burger was cool/warm with no ketchup or mustard. The layers of ice in the parking lot and the sidewalk made the walk from the car very difficult. Fast food=comfort food.
We'd rate this experience a B.
But really, do we expect these kids working here to give a rip at all? No.
They were happy and having fun, so the shortcomings didn't really matter.

Hands down best McDonald's in all of CO Springs.
If you want to be treated like a human being, literally get solid McDonald's every time, and fast service, this is the McDonald's worth driving to.
Literally, they work hard.
The manager Marissa definitely cares about how hard the team and she works.
Great leadership, communication with customers are always friendly and genuine.
We don't see this often at all.
Typically, at fast food places, you can get retaliated against with messed up food, ignored, and angry towards for being a customer.
But not this place my guys, these people take care of you.
They deserve massive bonuses 🫡

Boy were they on point today.
This drive through ran better than a Daytona 500 pit stop.
You’re probably wondering how I came to such a conclusion.
Let me start from the beginning I work from home.
I was on lunch.
Starving.
Wasting away.
It had been exactly 217 minutes since I had 3.5 eggs sunny side up, 1 avocado, and a glass of orange juice for breakfast.
But I was running out of time. I got caught up sending pesky work emails on lunch.
I only had 20 minutes left.
Queue the suspenseful music.
I flew out of my apartment in my squirrel suit from the third floor my apartment and glided to my car.
Pedal to the metal.
I through my law abiding citizen status out the window and drove at a breathtaking 45 MPH in a 40. Roll up to the drive through.
Order is taken within 30 seconds.
Not bad but nothing special.
Roll up to window 1.
Hand out the window.
Grabs my debit card and completed the transaction In 1 swipe.
As I head to window 2 my nuggets and sweet tea are seen out the window.
I pull up and grab them quicker than a nascar tire change and I’m on my way home. I opened my box of fried delicious chickey nuggey goodness and dump them in a galaxy of barbecue sauce, washed down with an explosion of sweetened goodness, and finish my lunch with a minute to spare This experience was both the best and worst of times. The best: I’ve never seen more efficient service, and such golden brown nuggets.
It felt like someone prepared the barbecue sauce just for me The worst: I’m ruined for life.
The service was so good that it’s downhill from here.
For the rest of my life I’ll be remembering this transaction and wishing I could re live. On my death bed I’ll smile fondly and be glad I was able to experience perfection at least once on earth.
