This was our first time trying Korean BBQ in the US and we really enjoyed our dinner here.Everything looked and tasted great.Kimchi, lettuce and other ingredients were fresh.The service was great and the ambiance of the place was nice for eating.All in all, it was worth the experience.Definitely would eat here again!
Let’s start with the positives, their selection for food is great! All my seafood and veggies were delicious.Things turned sour with service, I have never in my life been treated so rudely.Our server’s name was Julia and we were seated at table L-E1, the walls were dirty and as well the bubble tea menu at the table.My partner asked if we could leave and I insisted in staying and give this place a chance, big mistake.Our server came over without introducing herself, asks us if we were ready to order, we had just been sat.We inform her that it is our first time ever at a hot pot and we weren’t sure how everything worked.She dismissed us and proceeded to ask us what we wanted to eat, we told her we needed a minute and she just asked for drinks (STILL NOT SHOWING US HOW ANY OF THE HOT STUFF AT THE TABLE WORKED) my partner got his margarita immediately, I did not get my iced tea until after the food came out.Our grill started burning twice, she never bothered to show us the controls that are at the table, a bus boy that treated me like I was stupid came to turn it down.They dare include tip for horrible service? You lost a customer forever because of bad service.I eat asian food every week and this place will never see me or any of my friends because I will let them know how AWFUL service is here.
This place is awesome!!!! I’m so happy that Springfield FINALLY has hotpot! Staff is super attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.Everything is delicious, I highly recommend Kirin!!
