Barbecue restaurant
I went today just after 12 pm.as this place was moving and taking a bit to find parking, so it's definitely tells me that everyone is really enjoying their food as I got the brisket, lamb bacon rib, sausage, Smoke chicken Kebab as well Mac and cheese. Now, the brisket was good and tender with little hints of smoke flavor as well better without the bbq sauce as it's not overpowering when dipping pieces, but it's watery and ketchup based.Just doesn't help the meats and better without it.The sausage definitely was good but reminded me more of polish dogs or Kielbasa as it's different from most BBQ places here still delicious. The ribs weren't my favorite as the season did mask the natural flavor lamb usually has, but with it being sweet, in my opinion, I just didn't continue to eat them. But the smoke chicken was the best as It was tender and juicy, hints of rosemary, maybe turmeric and thyme. But their was something different, and I noticed the pomegranate seeds. The Mac and cheese were okay. The season definitely made it unique I did enjoy my experience and would come back mainly for the chicken dishes only.
A unique twist to Texas BBQ with Egyptian flavors and lamb dishes available like lamb chop and shredded lamb. The brisket rice bowl is sumptuous and is loaded with lots of rich nuts and is very flavorful. The lamb chop and shredded land has a great flavor and is juicy. The sausage was juicy. Other sides available as well including Mac and cheese, chimichurri mix is amazing and a good accompaniment. Be ready for a wait, 30-45 minutes, good to be a family, to try different items on the menu. For a single person, I found it is a bit more expensive as there is no 1 or 2 items plate available, would be a suggestion to add that and also the meat could be more warmer as I found it to be on the cooler side.Overall a great addition to the Austin BBQ scene and worth visiting multiple times.
I am a huge fan of BBQ.My grandma used to make spectacular lamb shoulders, and I've never had anything quite like them since.Up until now, I've basically ordered a pound of everything, and it was fantastic. However, I definitely had favorites; the lamb bacon ribs were the best.Plus, the seasoning was on point, and the side dishes are also worth a try
