Everything was excellent.
The food was so delicious.
They have homemade pop-tarts, so we had to try them.
It was very yummy.
The potatoes were so crispy and flavorful.
I could eat them all day long.
High recommend this place for brunch!

It was my first time trying HomeGrown.
All of the staff members I interacted with from beginning to end were happy, professional, and friendly.
It really makes a huge difference in what I experience as a customer when you can tell the staff members enjoy being there. The food was about average, comparable to other brunch places like First Watch.
Would definitely go back to try different menu items to see if anything stands out.

I started coming here about a year ago, and I can say hands down that this is one of my favorite places to get breakfast or brunch in KC.
You are surrounded by KINDNESS and positive people, GREAT food and the lovely buzz of neighborhood families sharing food and conversation.
They change the month to reflect the seasons and use many local ingredients.
It’s always such a lovely surprise when the new menu comes out because you are certain to find something that you love to eat❤️. Today, Steve and I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich, and a new item on the menu, carrot cake, pancakes with eggs and sausage… and our waitress, Julianne (one month into her job here but worked efficiently and joyfully as if she had been here forever) delivered two exceptional meals.
She wrapped the extra pancake to go. We left full and happy.
