Hoberts Southern Soul Food Restaurant, located at 4023 E Berry St, is temporarily closed, but I have to share my recent experience from before their break!

I had a delightful chat with the owner who truly embodies Southern hospitality. The chicken draped in that savory brown sauce was a highlight - so tender, it practically fell off the bone! 🐔 The sweet potato side was exceptionally good, though the sweetened green beans weren’t quite my style.

The warm atmosphere made it a comforting place, perfect for families. I’m eagerly looking forward to trying the beef brisket when they reopen... 🍽️
