I’m so happy I could make it back to another Gus’s.The food at this location didn’t disappoint.Between the chicken, okra, Mac n cheese etc everything was fantastic.It was pretty busy when we went but the sweet waitress still did a great job.
Now I can say I've eaten fried chicken! I had the two piece dark meal with fried okra and it was delicious! I was worried that it my be too spicy for my palate but I was just right.Sweet tea was great too.As a visitor, I would recommend this place to anyone new to the area.
When it comes to culture and the taste of it I believe you will find that Gus’s chicken is made with the history and love of all things fried and more.I came into a place with music that lights up the soul and food that comforts it.Their fried green tomatoes and pickles were delicious and their tenders are perfectly seasoned with some Louisiana hot sauce to go with it.If you haven’t had Gus’s you haven’t had fried chicken!
