I arrived shortly before closing (20 minutes), so the restaurant was largely empty and I was seated immediately.
Very friendly staff.
Ordered a bowl of gumbo and a grilled salmon with cooked vegetables and grits.
Gumbo was decent, but not the best.
The salmon dish was excellent, best meal I had on this short trip to NOLA..I would definitely reorder it and return to this restaurant on my next visit to New Orleans.

We absolutely loved the Grand Isle.
It was our last night in New Orleans, and we ran across this little gem.
Service was fabulous.
Kate was - hands down - the best server we had while in town.
She was so friendly, knowledgeable, made our evening fun! The food was excellent.
Highly recommend the hot crab dip and the charbroiled oysters...oh, and the crawfish beignets! The topper was their tequila selection.
My husband is a "Tequila guy" and was impressed they had Fortaleza which he really enjoyed!!

The dish was good, a bit on the saltier side in my opinion.
My friends liked their toaster tho.
The brownie and ice cream was amazing!
