Giuseppe's Cafe

I have been here a few times, but a friend took me here as a pick-me-up and it did just that! I love Italian food but not always at the prices of other Italian places around Birmingham.
Giuseppe’s is delicious Italian without the fuss.
It is well-decorated and cozy with warm, low lighting.
They also have a good amount of outdoor seating which is so pleasant on nice evenings! When I went a few years ago, I got the manicotti which was delicious but this time I got the chicken and prosciutto penne which was indulgent.
I think about it and my mouth waters! The serving size was enough for two meals and it came with a tasty breadstick.
I also got the house chardonnay to accompany my meal and it was the perfect touch.
Our server and the rest of the staff were friendly and kind.
Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but I saw a few other guests with the tiramisu and cannolis and I will have to try one when I go back!

I ordered carry-out dinner for 3 from this amazing-smelling place, and we all loved the food.
Stretch pants might be necessary if you're going to try to finish your plate of pasta--the food is quality and the portions generous.
The red sauce tastes so vibrant, and the tiramisu is light & delicious.
I'll definitely return when I'm back in Birmingham.

I took my two sons (17 & 7) here on the recommendation of my oldest son who had eaten here with his aunt a few months ago.
It's a family run business and feels like it in all the best ways.
Parking was easy (4:30pm on Saturday evening) and we were seated quickly.
Space is limited so that was a bonus.
Our waitress, Ty, was very friendly and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal.
She took the time to engage with my 7 year old and had him laughing and having a good time from the minute she greeted us at the door. The food was delicious - 3 pizzas and some cheesy and regular breadsticks.
A little pricier than I was expecting BUT well worth it.
I was not lying when I told Ty that in my opinion, the pizza was one of the top 3 pizzas I had ever eaten!!! Overall I left with a full belly, a smile on my face and a promise to return.
It is great for a family, a date, a catch up with friends or even a meal by yourself.
I would highly recommend this place. Thank you Giuseppe's staff for creating a great evening experience for me and my boys.
