Delicious food, great service and my coffee never got cold.
I got a basic breakfast but the red chile was delicious and the potatoes were perfect.
I love it! It tastes like something my grandma would have made.

I ordered steak and beef enchiladas.
They forgot to put the beef in the enchiladas.
The steak was the worst steak I have ever been served in a restaurant.
It was nearly all grisle which made it difficult to cut and chew.
Both the papas and the beans were dried out and tough.
It was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time.
PS -- don't forget to tip your waitress when the kitchen messes up.
It's not her fault.

Came here at the urging of a fb group from New Mexico.
Let me say that the only thing that disappointed me was the hot sauce and chips.
Maybe it's not a popular thing in NM but it is in Texas and usually bad chips and hot sauce sets the tone for the rest of the meal.
However, in this case it was not true.
I got the green chile stew and it was really good.
Just a hint of heat.
It came with a very large homemade flour tortilla that was fresh and delicious.
My hubs got the green chile burger and he enjoyed it (he's the picky one)! My child ordered some pancakes and bacon and they were fun shaped and cooked well.
All and all it was a good dining experience but I wasn't blown away.
Service was great and atmosphere was nostalgic on route 66.
Have to try a few other recommendations and compare but so far so good 👍
