Fast food restaurant, Fish & chips restaurant
Ganim's is a liquor store that also has a kitchen. The service is good and the fish and chips are a surprise hit here.If you like fish and chips, definitely try it here. The pieces are hand battered in house and freshly fried when ordered. The pieces of fish are large and have a golden crispy crust.Pair it with a beer and enjoy an excellent meal inside!
I was driving around in San Francisco looking for a place to park for The Dead and Company show, and found this great little Cafe. The owner is a friendly and engaging Man.We chatted about the local sports teams. There was a few topics covered in my 45 min stay. The Swiss/Mushroom burger and fries was delicious to the point where it was maybe the best burger in my life. There's a menu of variety as well as the great burgers. While I was masticating the burger, I heard him take orders over the phone as well as walk-ins placing takeout. So if your ever in San Francisco, You should stop in for a burger or something else from the menu.I am sure that all is as good as my burger.Ganim's give it a try.
First time there, and the guy at the register was polite and helpful, and gave me a bottle of water without charging me.The food, two burgers and two fries, took about 15 minutes, and they added lettuce to my burger when I requested none, and the patty itself, wasn't anything special, looked about a 5 ounce patty, with the bun being too large for the patty. The fries, they were lightly salted, and had been frozen, which is normal for most places. The lobby area had a couple of tables and stools, definitely had the Cafe feel to it, but it also felt a little dirty. All in all, for the price, not worth it, would return if in the area, and the prices were a little lower.I may recommend.7.5/10.
