Conveniently located right next to my hotel.
A brisk walk, I open the door, and am greeted by a line.
This place was packed..
and for good reason!! You order at the counter, get your drink, and take a seat with a buzzer that will alert you when your food is ready to be picked up.
I ordered the trout almandine with veggies and the “lake trash a la mode” with was walnut brownie with vanilla ice cream.
The trout was delicious and well as the dessert! On top of that it has an eclectic vibe with donated Billy the bass trophy’s lining the walls!! 10 out of ten recommend!

I really wanted to enjoy this place but it was not the place for me.
Wanted to order some crabs but as I was behind the gentlemen that was inquiring the staff about their drink selection, I noticed the crabs were not fresh but frozen instead.
I was hoping that being this close to the water, it would be fresh caught seafood.
Maybe the fish is fresh but the crabs are frozen, saw it with my own eyes.
To each their own.
It seems to be a local favorite though which is why I went here.

Good size portion for the catfish.
The lobster stew was good, my said.
Good choice of hot sauce,onion slices,tarter sauce, shrimp sauce and vinegar to add to your food selection.
Cooked fresh and well seasoned.
I thought it was fried a little too hard.
Stuffed fish on the wall is the decor.
The large assortment of food will have you trying to decide "what do I want to eat?" Check them out.
