This review is overdue.
I had to sing at a funeral on Saturday, 01-14-23.
I wanted some comfort food afterwards, so I stopped by.
I got a veggie plate with cabbage, green beans, and mashed potatoes.
They were out of some of the other sides on the menu.
I also ordered dessert.
I waited a little longer than usual to get my food.
I think the young lady at the register forgot about my order. I tend to call ahead before going as they are sometimes closed when you would expect them to be open.

First time at this establishment for a lunch order.
The front staff was great! Very friendly and welcoming.
I ordered chicken wings, banana pudding, a white chicken (breast & wing) plate, and a gallon of tea/lemonade.
The chicken was nicely cooked.
I just wish it had been cooked in fresh grease.
It had a taste of being cooked in used oil.
The tea tasted days old.
Poured it out! Easy online ordering and in-store pickup.
Although I found them by searching "best banana pudding," I didn't find it to be anything to write home about.
Maybe it was just a bad day.
I may give them another chance and try something different, but it will be a while.
