Everything about visit trip was amazing.Our server was named Newt and all aspects of our orders were correct.We were never left wanting more refills or waiting long for our appetizers, entrees or desserts.We were a large group but we’re accommodated quickly.It was the best service I’ve had in years.

I don’t like to give bad reviews… this one sat on my shoulders for a long time and I could not let it go. We visited Chili’s @ 5790 W.Loop 1604 in San Antonio on 06 October 2023. We frequent this location often because it’s close to home and usually pretty good.This particular evening somebody was obviously sleeping at the wheel. We choose a booth near the bar to have a drink. The drink was cold, tasted great and prepared properly. Initially we ordered the chips & salsa and that came out with lightening speed (very impressed). But next we ordered the Triple Dipper appetizer (cheeseburger sliders, mozzarella sticks and boneless wings). They were not busy that evening and it was around 10pm so I did not see any reason for our order to be delayed. We waited more than 30 minutes for an appetizer and when it arrived it was cold and did not look very appetizing. The cheese on the cheeseburger sliders was cold (not melted), the bread was hard and dry, the mozzarella sticks were warm and the boneless wings were cold. I know that it was not the waitress fault because she came to our table a couple times to check on us. After waiting so long we asked for the manager and showed him our unappetizing cold plate. He offered to have it prepared again, but we refused because we were ready to leave. Additionally, we asked for a side of pickles and there was something in there that did not belong there. What started out as a nice little pitstop to chill and have a relaxing evening turned into a pretty disappointing experience. As mentioned, I don’t like giving bad reviews but from looking at others reviews, management needs to know about unsatisfactory incidents like this so that they can make improvements.

We came to chili’s to have a family birthday dinner.We did have a large party of 12 and the hostess we VERY helpful! She communicated that they had 3 other large parties and the wait would be a little louder than normal but she would try to get us in ASAP.30 min later she had us seated.We had a table with 4 separate checks and no problems still.While waiting for our food our table had numerous empty glasses that hadn’t been picked up and we asked several times and still had to wait.We noticed the table next to us who were seated maybe 10 min after us received their food.(They also had a large party)When we noticed that, we asked why they had received their food first and we hadn’t.They then said there was a mix up of tickets and the other table got our food.After over an hour the food started showing up two at a time.But food was cold, sent back and another 15 min later we got it.Kids got food last, parents who mentioned they were sharing a plate had to eat off of napkins, we asked several times for sweet n low and nothing, places an order to go that was wrong when we got it and to top it off (after speaking to the manager) the checks were wrong, extra orders added on there, discount manger said we would get was not given, and in between the 3 times we had to have checks corrected it took 10 min or so to get them back to us.I finally had to go to the one competent person there the hostess and give her the written correct bill we should have and the money to pay for the bills that were correct.This was the worst service, management and food we have EVER had! The only bright light in this place is the new hostess who was on her 2nd day!
