We checked this place out for Oakland's restaurant week.I was absolutely amazing.Every dish was cooked to perfection. The salmon was great, I love crunchy fish skin and they nailed it.We also tried the red curry.I was all delicious. The service was awesome as well.Even though is was the end of the night and they were closing shop, the staff didn't make us feel rushed.I can genuinely say this was some of the best restaurant food I've had in a while.Every dish was bursting with flavor without being over seasoned or too salty.
I stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food was so tasty! I came at lunch and there was plenty of space to park or sit.I got the lunch special with catfish and chicken curry.$23 for everything in the photo, great deal.
this was dangerously close to being the best Thai food I’ve ever had in the United States, and I’ve spent a few months in Thailand.Everything was cooked phenomenally, particularly the meat and the noodles which often go wrong. The vegetables are also authentic unlike many restaurants that use western broccoli and their stirfries. Devastatingly it fell short at the very last step, which is the seasoning. The undertone flavors from the ingredients are very much there because they’re cooked so well they simply don’t use sauce or any spice. It lacks the depth of flavor that comes from the fish sauce and the chili and the garlic dishes. they did not ask for spice level so I assumed it would be authentically spicy.I would understand if this were not so because it would turn off so many people, but you simply can’t have Thai food with no spice level by default. having said that it’s incredibly rare that you encountered Thai food that’s cooked with such a skill level
