Cajun restaurant, Bar, Southern restaurant (US)
Trap Kitchen Oakland promises a lively atmosphere with a blend of Cajun and Southern flavors, right on the second floor of Complex Oakland. This Black-owned gem offers a casual vibe, ideal for quick bites or leisurely dinners. While the menu boasts comfort food delights like catfish baskets and hearty bacon mac and cheese, some diners have noted inconsistencies in flavor and presentation. With options for vegetarian diners and outdoor seating, it’s a versatile choice. Though the service may be a bit slow, the trendy ambiance and occasional live music make it worth a visit.

September 05, 2024Trap Kitchen Oakland offers a casual vibe that welcomes everyone, from locals to tourists. 🌆 I tried the catfish basket, and while it looked fantastic, I was hoping for more flavor. The fried shrimp, on the other hand, was delicious!
I appreciate the fast service and friendly staff, but the tables could use a bit more attention. A live music setup adds a nice touch to the atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxed night out. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you're after a laid-back dining experience...!
